Nahim Abe Ibraheem

Mr. Nahim Abe’ Ibraheem holds a B.A History from University of Lagos, obtained in the year 1989. He joined Orbit Communications as a manager in 1990 and in 1995 he established Soveran Nigeria Limited a specialty procurement and petroleum product distribution company based in Lagos, a company he currently chairs. He is also the Chief Executive of Euronat Nigeria Limited a major indigenous oil product company exporting principal products such as crude oil, condensate and fuel oil in collaboration with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC and Nigeria LNG. He has over 27 years of cognitive experience in this field of business in both the downstream and upstream of the oil trade sector.

Mr. Ibraheem has represented V. Ships Monaco S.A, the largest ship management company in the world in Nigeria and was part of the team that provided ship management and manpower services to Shell Bonga, Caverton Marine and Nigeria LNG.

He was country adviser from 2000 to 2006 for Africa Merchant Bank (A Banque Belgolaise S.A/Fortis Bank Group Subsidiary), the financial advisers and co- financial arrangers for the funding of Obajana Cement Project for the Dangote Group of Nigeria. He has also been a mandated adviser for Société Générale Bank France in Nigeria and he currently sits on the boards of various corporate organizations. He is Chairman of Veritas Kapital Assurance Plc and Non-Executive Director in Super-phosphate Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited, Veritas Glanvills Pensions Limited and Lighthouse Capital Limited.

He has attended several training courses and programs home and overseas. He is a member of the USA Honor Society, Petroleum Equipment Suppliers of America (PESA), the Lagos Polo Club and the Institute of Directors (Nigeria).
